Nicholas Smith is a 2026 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Arlington, TX who attends Mansfield Timberview. Medium frame with plenty of present strength in the hands and forearms, filled in chest with strong lower half. Ran a 6.93 60-yard dash with chance to improve that time more with better direction. Primary infielder, athletic to the baseball with big arm over and throws produce carry on a line, accurate throws with a quick transfer and release, two hand gather out front with clean funnels, fluid defender with projection to really stick there. Right-handed hitter, fast bat with real impact, can backspin the baseball to the pull-side, left the yard early in the round, plenty of bat speed here and explodes through contact, all over the barrel. Lots of projection here. Named to the 2025 Sunshine Texas Top Prospect List.
