Matt Muzikant is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Williston Park, NY who attends LUHI. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to fill out and get stronger. 7.43 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves well through the ball, has lateral range while staying balanced well, showed a whippy and loose arm action with good accuracy, changed arm slots well and made all the plays cleanly. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow base with a low relaxed hand load, easy and fluid swing that was well-timed and on barrel, showed some gap power that should continue to develop. Also pitched, has a basic turn and throw delivery from a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball worked in the mid-70's and topped out at 78 mph, had nice sink and run at lower velocities. Slider was a good pitch with some tightness and sweeping depth. Good all around player who should keep improving with physical maturity. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
