2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 15)
Alexander Sifford is a 2024 3B/MIF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Nashville, TN who attends Ensworth. Recorded a 6.70 second 60-yard dash time. Tall, lean, and projectable build with room for added strength. Primary third baseman with smooth actions, quick feet, and a low 3/4 slot that displays arm strength with carry to bases. Throws displayed accuracy and were up to 83-mph. Ability to change slot, especially when coming in on the ball in the infield. Right-handed hitter with square stance, and small stride for timing. Starts with hands low outside his chest, and displays a quick swing path with bat speed, yet stays long through the hitting zone with feel for the barrel leading to loud contact out front with extension. Power to the gaps right now but with continued strength gain, more leverage will develop in the swing. Developing power to the pull side is apparent. Good student. Named to the WWBA Workout Top Prospect List.
