Primary catcher who has two-way potential on the mound. Starts with an offset crouch behind the dish, exploding out with pop times as low as 1.90. Johnson utilized a quick and compact arm action with accuracy, reaching 76 mph. He also worked out on the infield, showcasing strong actions laterally with clean exchanges, unleashing a strong and accurate arm that reached 90 mph across. At the plate, Johnson starts open with his hands and elbow high, working into a short and efficient stride from both sides.
