Jeter Farina is a 2027 SS/RHP/LHP/UT with a 5-11 189 lb. frame from Orange Park, FL who attends Oakleaf. Medium athletic build with lots of present compact strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with an aggressive move into his swing, swings very hard and creates outstanding bat speed, ball comes off the barrel hot and hard, lots of torque in his swing, showed his power well, has a high ceiling at the plate if he can stay timed in games. 7.10 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has a good first step and rounds the ball well, plays low to the ground, hands in good position to field cleanly, confident actions, very smooth charging the ball, solid arm strength, has all the actions. Took a turn on the mound, works from a step and turn delivery with a high leg raise and a high 3/4's arm slot, max effort mechanics that have some deception. Fastball was in the low 80's and topped at 84 mph, also threw a hard curveball with some spin and bite at times. Outstanding student with a commitment to Jacksonville. Named to the PG World Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
