2023 Sunshine Mid-South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Trejean Webb is a 2025 OF/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 154 lb. frame from Hampton, GA who attends Dutchtown. Good body with some present physicality. In the outfield, he charges with intent to the fielding point. The arm action is long and winding, trying hard to get on top and work downhill. In the infield, he shows long strides with above average lateral range. Varied the slot on the throws across the diamond but delivered accurately with some level of rhythm. At the plate, he starts in a square stance with a widebase that works into a hovering leg lift. The swing is loose and creates some whip in the barrel. He got it on the barrel through the gap frequently but could develop a more effective load to add further impact. On the mound, he works with from a delivery that utilizes a belt high lift and stays linear down the mound. Fastball filled up the zone before turning to a big round curveball that he landed a couple of times throughout the outing. 6.98 60-yard. Good student.
