LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2024 Minnesota Indoor Showcase
Ryan Christiansen is a 2026 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Lakeville, MN who attends Apple Valley. Taller frame with a slender, athletic build. Right-handed pitcher works from a hybrid set-up working from a side-step into a just above the belt leg lift before extending down the mound. Has a feel for the extension down the mound. Throws from a lower three- quarters arm slot that's tough to read. The fastball (2345 RPM) was 84-89 with good run. Commanded it well and competed in the zone with it. The low 80s change-up (1556 RPM) has a ton of fading action to it with good arm-side sink. Pronates well and turns it over. Diving and falling off the table. The mid-70s curveball (1845 RPM) had 11-5 shape with some depth to it. Could throw for strikes and located it in the lower third and below the zone. Heavy fastball mix and could mix in the off-speed more. Settled into the outing well. Secondary infielder that moves fine with an accurate arm across. Right-handed hitter starts from an even base with high hands and a high back elbow, utilizes a small leg lift trigger. Balanced and on time with some length to the swing. Swings with controlled movements and leverage. Impacting the ball consistently gap-to-gap. Works uphill with loud contact and jump off the barrel. Exciting two-way player with a high ceiling. Excellent student. Named to the 2024 Minnesota Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
