2022 Northeast Prospect Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Jet Jones is a 2025 C/RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Londonderry, NH who attends Londonderry. Athletic, long levered frame with a high waist and tons of physical projection. Recorded a 7.16 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that receives a side-saddled stance with uphill movements out of the crouch and a fairly quick, direct mid-line transfer. Gains ground quickly out of the crouch and showed some present arm strength up to 75 mph from behind the plate during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a slightly abbreviated windup with small side-step into a higher leg lift and good lower half movements down the slope. Fastball worked in the mid-to-upper 70s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 80 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot. Mixed in short, tighter 11-5 curveball as his go-to secondary offering, shows promising spin profile and generates plenty of swings-and-misses. Will continue to improve with mechanical adjustments and additional velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, even base with a high hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Intent based swing with developing bat-to-ball skills and mostly pullside contact. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments, some mechanical refinements and additional stretch. Projectable, athletic prospect with tons of upside of both sides of the ball. Good Student. Named to the 2022 Northeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
