2023 Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Owen Beatrice is a 2026 2B/IF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from New Brighton, PA who attends North Catholic. Slender athletic frame. Ran a 7.00 60-yard dash. Middle infielder with quick feet, developing fundamental footwork and clean glove actions working through the baseball, showed balance and body control with the makings of lateral range and a solid average throwing arm. Right handed hitter swung the bat well in game, hit from a wide base with load stride timing, created hand separation and showed a direct hand path to the baseball with bat speed through the zone, approach to lift the baseball with the barrel control to go gap to gap in game. Named to Pittsburgh Indoor Top Prospect List. Very good student.

Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
