2024 PG Underclass All-American Games
Brody Crane is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Neosho, MO who attends Neosho. Features a compact/physical build with plenty of strength. In the OF, showed strong actions. Got around and through it with some decent quickness creating some momentum through reception which was clean and out front. Arm showed looseness and adv. strength where throws were made downhill with accuracy. At the plate, sets up with a wider base and keeps it simple with a heel turn trigger that keeps him balanced. Gets the barrel into a connected launch and it works fast through the zone on a slight uphill path through with some good length. Contact was consistently out front where he showed strong pullside juice. Left the yard a couple times. On the mound, was exclusively from the stretch and showed a balanced/repeatable delivery. Used a mid-chest knee lift that comes down into a smaller drop in driveleg. Avg. length stride, rotates fast with a hard finish. Medium/clean circle out the glove that works up with advanced arm speed and good layback to a higher 3/4 slot. Ran the FB up to 93 that had strong carry and flashed some cut at times. Mixed in a harder SL in the upper 70s that showed shorter/depthy shape. Also showed a bigger 11-5 CB. Named to Top Prospects List.
