Matt Meeker is a 2027 OF/1B with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Waukee, IA who attends Waukee. Tall, physical build with present strength throughout the frame. 7.42 runner in the 60-yard dash. Left-handed hitter, medium base with open front side in the stance. Worked to all fields with strength, low effort impact and showed easy pull-side power too. Consistently on the barrel in batting practice with hard contact throughout. Primary outfielder, under control on the charge in, works through the baseball well, game-like actions, compact arm action to a high slot and big arm strength. Online throws recorded up to 92 mph. Secondary first baseman, solid range with bounce off the bag, confident in the glove and showed clean exchanges with ability to feed the double play well. Has arm strength across with accuracy, recorded throws up to 84 mph. Great student.
