Caleb Paulson is a 2026 C/UT with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Asbury, IA who attends Hempstead. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Right handed hitter, starts from a spread stance with a simple leg lift trigger, compact and direct swing with some strength to it, keeps his mechanics simple and repeatable, has leverage and flashed the ability to lift the ball, works gap to gap, polished and projectable hitting approach and tools. 7.86 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, comes out of his crouch well and has some athleticism, repeats his footwork and release well, can continue to work on his glove work and receiving skills. Bat is his best tool. Good student.
