Eli Martin is a 2027 C/OF with a 5-11 197 lb. frame from Zimmerman, MN who attends Zimmerman. Medium athletic build with very good strength for his age. 7.02 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has a short and compact arm action with very good present arm strength, on line accurate throws, comes out of his crouch aggressively, all the tools to be a high level defensive catcher. Has the athleticism to play multiple other defensive positions. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance, turns hard with a rotational upper body swing, creates bat speed, pull side approach with some jump off the barrel, does a good job of keeping his hands inside and short.
