Henry Simmons is a 2026 C/3B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Marengo, IA who attends Williamsburg. Medium, athletic build with well-proportioned strength present. Primary catcher, sets up in a RKD stance and gains sufficient ground while working inline with the bag. Displayed impressive lateral agility and quickness in the shoulder. Strides a bit open at times and utilizes a shorter arm path to deliver throws. Recorded arm strength up to 78 mph with a pop-time of 1.97 sec. Right-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open stance with a high hand set-up and high back elbow. Utilizes a small leg lift trigger for timing before working into a slightly uphill bat path. Utilizes his lower-half well, remaining heavy in his back-side through contact. Looks to impact the baseball out in front while creating lift to the pull-side. Produced line drive impact with good strength when timed up. Can get a bit rotational at times. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 80 mph. Ran a 5.22 forty-yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
