Lukas Trippiedi is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 6-0 164 lb. frame from Addison, IL who attends Addison Trail. Lean young athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Side step delivery with a big hip coil over the rubber, tall and fall mechanics down the mound, over the top arm slot, has some energy at release, creates some deception with his mechanics. Fastball worked in the upper 70's, mostly straight with good downhill angle. Showed good spin on a downer curveball at times, deadened the spin on his change up well. Primary fastball pitcher but has the pitches to mix. 7.41 runner in the sixty. Worked out in the outfield and infield and showed good arm strength at both positions, had nice overall actions in the outfield with good momentum into his throws and accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide straight stance with a toe tap trigger, stays on time well, makes consistent contact and moves the ball around the field. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
