Pedro Mena is a 2024 C with a 6-1 198 lb. frame from Davenport, FL who attends Sunshine State Elite Academy. A thicker kid with a physical build and some strength to pair. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who starts with open feet. Throws were uphill to second being caught in the air and accurate around the bag. Threw from a higher slot with a shorter release. Gains ground through the catch-n-throw well. Threw 75 mph down to second base with a 2.03 pop time. A right-handed hitter with a wider base and slightly open feet. Works with higher set hands and a high back elbow. Showed some strength in the wrists to hit the ball hard and show big-time juice all over the barrel. Produced an 87 mph exit velocity during PG tech testing. Good student.
