Morgan Davis is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-5 110 lb. frame from Dublin, GA who attends Dublin. Young, lean frame with time to continue growing into the frame. Right-handed hitter, upright stance with narrow base and a high back elbow, simple stride out into contact, direct barrel path with developing strength coming off the barrel. Contact approach with ability to hit the ball all over the field. Primary shortstop, moves around with fundamentally sound actions, glove gets down early and works through the baseball with a clean funnel out front, long gather and arm stroke to a higher release. Developing arm strength that should continue to come with added strength, recorded throws up to 63 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, repeats simple operation well, arm works to a three-quarters release point. Was around the zone with a fastball heavy diet, up to 63 mph (1498 RPM) and worked quickly. Great student.
