Zack Mesimer is a 2027 1B/RHP/C with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walton. Big young build with plenty of strength potential. 8.47 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has good footwork for his age and turns well into his throws, tends to sweep his glove at balls. Also caught and worked out in the infield but is best suited for first base at present. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow and open start, well timed shift into contact, repeats his swing well and has barrel skills, squared up the ball consistently to all fields both during the games and in batting practice, has some hitting tools to develop. Took a turn on the mound, works from a closed stretch with a simple leg raise delivery and good direction down the mound. Fastball topped out at 68 mph to go with a soft curveball, threw strikes with both pitches. Has hitting tools to develop as he continues to work on his athleticism.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
