2026 PG Coastal Indoor Showcase
Liam Skeen is a 2028 RHP/SS from Big Stone Gap, VA, attending Union High School, with a strong, athletic 6’1”, 195-lb frame. On the mound, he works from a full windup with a high three-quarter arm slot and a short, quick arm action that produces a firm fastball (up to 91mph) with late arm-side run, playing best when elevated. He pairs it with a sweeping slider that spins well and a changeup that has late fade, giving him a developing three-pitch mix to challenge hitters. While continuing to refine his ability to consistently work glove side, he shows the traits of a true arm with real upside in the 2028 class. Defensively, he has present arm strength and the ability to make plays across the infield with confidence. At the plate, the right-handed hitter has present bat speed and the ability to impact the ball, working with a pull-side approach. Exciting player with a high ceiling, especially on the mound. Excellent student. Named to the 2026 PG Coastal Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
