Bubba Day is a 2027 RHP/MIF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Skutt Catholic. Outstanding young pitcher's body with big physical projection remaining. Works from a side step delivery with a high leg raise over the ribber, throws from a low 3/4's arm slot with big arm speed, clears his front side well. Fastball sat in the low 90's and topped out at 93 mph, lots more velocity there as he matures physically, flashed hard sinking action at times, fastball plays very well. Still developing feel and consistency on his secondary pitches, slider flashed some sweeping depth at times, tended to lose his change up arm side. 6.71 runner in the sixty. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow straight stance, has loose hands and creates very good barrel whip, controls the barrel well, projects very well as a hitter if he gets stronger. Interesting young athlete and arm with a high ceiling. Good student.
