Andrew Talbert is a 2027 SS/OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Byron, IL who attends Byron. Medium athletic build with very good present strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a low hand load, inward hanging leg raise timer, has a fast and compact swing, present bat speed and jump off the barrel, gap to gap approach with lots of power potential. 4.51 runner in the forty. Primary shortstop on defense, is light and bouncy on his feet, gets to the ball with smooth and balanced actions, very soft and sure glove actions, big arm strength, high level overall actions.
