2024 Midwest High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Ben Harting is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Loveland, CO who attends Thompson Valley. Medium, compact build with some present athleticism and plenty of physical projection remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch with a leg lift up to the belt. Breaks into a deeper arm path and releases the baseball from a low three-quarters slot. Arm action is clean and repeated well. Gets his back leg through smoothly. Fastball lived at the bottom of the strike zone, showing late life while ultimately peaking at 85 mph. Mixed in a hard-biting slider with two-plane movement and spin up to 2244 rpm. Projects well as an arm. Right-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open stance with active hands and a high back elbow. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing before working into a level bat path. Has some present quickness in the hands with developing feel for the barrel. Swing gets lengthy at times. Produced line drive impact to both gaps during batting practice. Ran a 7.35 sixty-yard dash. Named to the 2024 Midwest High School All-State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
