KC Fall Softball Scouting Combine Afternoon Session
Megan Fultz is a 5'7, class of 2023, OF/RHP from Tulsa, OK who attends Catoosa HS. Megan is a noticeably gift upper class athlete who shows advanced skill and college ready speed. She ran a solid 3.21 20-yard dash with an advanced 1.06 5-yard split...one of the better explosive starts in the combine. A primary outfielder, Megan shows advanced, accomplished ability on the grass. She is noticeably twitchy and athletic. Her first step quickness is elite and she reads the ball off the bat well. She positions quickly and confidently. She plays through the fielding action with plus momentum and transitions well to a very powerful arm. Her 64-mph throws are firm, hold their plane, and are highly accurate. Outstanding defender with plus promise. Megan's defensive ability alone should get her on a college field early, but when combined with her ability to swing her bat, there is no question Megan is a top prospect. She has an easy and confident approach to bunting which should only enhance her speed game. She is easy and balanced at the ready. There is rhythm to her operation that allows her noticeably strong hands to work well. She has a quick trigger. She is short, quick, and direct to contact. Plus feel for the barrel. Routine gap-to-gap pop that is loud. Emerging power that will only enhance her projectability. Megan has a solidly impressive offensive game that is certainly college ready. Megan is a future college player with an advanced ability. Should she continue to build on her already impressive ability, her college future and next level game will be elite. High ceiling! Bright future! Big upside!
