Michael Capaldo is a 2027 SS/MIF with a 5-4 130 lb. frame from Morganville, NJ who attends St. John Vianney. Smaller frame with present athleticism and physical projection remaining. Primary shortstop, gets a good first step on the baseball and works through it well. Funnels it cleanly, keeping his momentum moving towards the bag while delivering accurate throws. Recorded arm strength up to 75 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter, starts in a wide base with a high back elbow and high hand set-up. Utilizes a low hover trigger for timing and works into a level bat path. Pulls his head out a bit at times. Produced consistent contact to all parts of the field. Developing bat speed and strength in the barrel. Posted an exit velocity of 73 mph. Ran a 7.07 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
