Anthony Rodrigue is a 2029 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from St. Peters, MO who attends De Smet Jesuit. Solid frame with present strength and plenty of physicality, more to come too. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.77 seconds. Primary position IF, moving around well on his fee and getting to good angles through his reps. Accurate glove work with emerging adjustability to unusual hops, securing the ball well. Emerging lateral mobility covering ground with long strides. Fuller arm path creating feeds up to 81 mph across the diamond. Secondary RHP, using a belly high leg lift to start, working down the mound in a clean line as he loads before foot strike. Smooth, repeatable operation with a medium inline arm swing before accelerating through a high 3/4 arm angle. FB is true though the zone peaking at 80 mph with average spin metrics. Spun a good curveball with the shape and depth to miss barrels up to 70 mph. LHH working from a wider base, high handset and stiffer rhythm pre-pitch. Small toe tap trigger to get started but struggled to stay on time. Steep attack angle creating mostly pull side ground balls. Has strength in his hands just needs to get on plane to access his power.
