Reeves Cromer is a 2029 RHP/SS with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Montgomery, TX, who attends Lake Creek. He is an 8.30 runner in the sixty. He has a lean, projectable build with room to fill out as he matures physically. On the mound, he works from a full windup off the first-base side of the rubber with a clean, high three-quarters arm slot. He has very good direction down the mound and a natural feel for pitch sequencing. His fastball has life to both sides of the plate, and the curveball spins well with tight shape and depth. His changeup has late fade and complements the arsenal well. Advanced pitchability for his age with real potential as he continues to develop strength and consistency. Defensively, he has sound actions and a good understanding of the game. In the infield, he plays under control with a soft glove, smooth transfers, and accurate throws across the diamond. In the outfield, he works through the ball with accurate one-hop throws and solid intent behind his actions. At the plate, he has a deep hand load and a short, direct path through the zone with contact skills to all fields. He has some wiry strength and feel for the barrel, with developing impact that should come as he gets stronger. A projectable young two-way player with advanced mound presence and clean mechanics.
