Allen Aguila is a 2030 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-5 100 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Mater Academy. Very lean young build. Right handed hitter, sets up with an open front side and a big leg raise timer, has a short and direct swing path and gets the barrel on plane well, moved the ball around the field, good base swing to build on as he gets stronger. 8.17 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has active feet and gets to his spots well, shows nice athleticism through the ball, lots to like about his lower half actions, still developing his arm strength and ability to make all the throws. Also worked out in the outfield, attacked the ball aggressively and fielded it cleanly, arm strength doesn't play on the grass yet.
