2022 California Workout Showcase (Saturday)
Jacob Elliott is a 2022 OF/RHP, 1B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Long Beach, CA who attends Lakewood. A tall and lean athletic frame. Ran a 7.00 60-yard dash. An outfielder with a quick first step and quick, fluid actions to the ball. Shows some footwork working through the baseball but does slow the momentum down some to field it. Average hands, crow hops to throw while showing a longer action with average arm speed and developing accuracy. At the plate he starts from a wide base and square stance. A small and controlled stride and loose wrists with and an efficient hand path to the ball. Incorporates the lower half well and made solid contact to all fields. Good student.
