Denixon Suarez is a 2023 C/2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Doral, FL who attends Miami Christian School. A taller frame with some physicality in the build. Primary catcher with a higher setup in the crouch. Showed off good hand speed as he catches, gathers, and completes the transfer to work into the throw. His feet replace themselves with some urgency to help him get to a position to make the throws down to second. Produced a 2.05 pop time with 78 mph throws down to second. A left-handed hitter with a big leg lift trigger and a compact setup. He gets the hands through the zone with some speed and whip. Produced lots of contact in the air with the ability to lift and produce deep line drives. There was juice present pull-side. A fluid round with good juice and ability to elevate shown. Managed an 88 mph exit velocity. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
