Hudson McEntyre is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Dallas, GA who attends Paulding County. Smaller young build. 7.35 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has very good fundamental footwork working around and through the ball, puts himself in position to field the ball and make accurate throws, arm strength still developing but the foundation is there. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a low hand/low back elbow load, two-part load to his back side, mechanical swing that will develop with more repetitions and experience, flashes hand speed to build on with more lower half connection. Took a turn on the mound, has a clean and compact delivery with drop and drive mechanics down the mound, repeats athletically and throws lots of strikes. Fastball sat in the low 70's to go with a well shaped curveball. Very good student.
