Ray Thomas is a 2028 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Fair Haven, NJ who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Lean, athletic build with long levers and plenty of room to add strength. 7.24 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder, works through the baseball fairly well and gets rid of it quickly. Segments his actions at times during the transfer phase. Showed feel for the spot and kept his throws online. Secondary left-handed pitcher, hybrid delivery from the first base side of the rubber with a chest-high leg lift. Accelerates the arm a bit late before creating extension down the slope and working into a ¾ arm slot. Fastball got up to 72 mph, setting up a vertical curveball and fading changeup. Kills spin effectively on the changeup. Left-handed hitter, starts in a wide stance with a tight hand set-up. Utilizes a quick stride for timing before working into a slightly uphill bat path. Keeps his hands inside the baseball and looks to create leverage at impact. Developing bat speed with more power to project on. Posted an exit velocity of 81 mph. Great student.
