Brody Lara is a 2027 OF/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Surprise, AZ who attends Shadow Ridge. Features a medium, athletic frame. Has a three-pitch mix that includes fastball, curveball and changeup. Clean operation throwing out of a high three-quarter slot with longer arm action. Has a belt high leg lift and stays linear down the mound. Changeup is deceptive with solid arm action. Showed proper footwork and glove mechanics while working out in the outfield. Rounds it well and works through the ball. Accurate to both bases with some carry and developing arm speed. Has a wide base at the plate with no stride to impact. Bat speed is developing and he has an all-fields approach. More to come as he grows and matures. Ran a 7.17 sixty-yard dash.
