Vincent Filis is a 2028 SS/2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Millstone, NJ who attends Princeton Day. Medium athletic build with good present strength and room for more. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with a high hand load and simple stride into contact, has strength in his hands and creates bat speed and barrel whip, loud when he squared it up, solid barrels against live pitching. Primary shortstop on defense, gets around the ball well and is light on his feet, clean funnels out front, solid present arm strength from a high 3/4's arm slot and can adjust on the run, has the actions and athleticism to stay in the middle of the field. Named to the PG New York Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
