Eli Iopa is a 2028 SS/OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Honolulu, HI who attends Mid Pacific Institute. Features a medium sized build with room to add strength/mass. Ran a 7.60 60-yd dash. Showed fundamental actions in both the INF and OF. More methodical mover in the OF with some hesitation at times but fields it clean and out front and used a longer arm action that got off uphill one-hop accurate throws to the bag. In the INF, stays low to the ground but doesn't work through it well with his feet. Hands were sure and clean at reception to both sides. Showed a glove tap and a couple extra shuffles before working to release where he got off accurate throws across. At the plate, operated from a wider base and used a slight leg lift trigger into launch. Maintains balance through the swing. Decent hand speed as they deliver the barrel on a connected uphill path through the zone with length. In BP, produced line drive contact that stayed gap to gap with flashes of some decent impact. Found a couple of line drive barrels during gameplay as well. Named to Top Prospects List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
