Clark Johnson is a 2029 C/RHP/3B with a 5-11 168 lb. frame from Wilson, NC who attends Eastern Carolina Academy. Medium build with the beginnings of some present strength and more to come. Ran a 7.66 in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, showed a clean transfer with some arm strength on throws around the tag zone, solid overall actions with room to tighten up as he continues to develop. Also worked out in the infield where he showed first step quickness and some carry to throws across the diamond. On the mound, worked from a medium leg lift into a three-quarters arm slot, fastball topped at 79 mph with some projection for more velocity, mixed in a breaking ball with developing shape. Left handed hitter, set up with a medium stance and flat barrel, showed loose wrists and strong hands at impact, created his best contact to the pull side gap with developing bat speed.
