Horacio Solis Jr is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 5-5 105 lb. frame from Lombard, IL who attends Glenbard East. Young athlete with actions that will only get better with time and strength. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.94 seconds. Primary position IF who showed good instincts and feel for the position. Worked well through his angles as he foot work got him into good position with regularity. Developing arm strength up to 62 mph across the field and showed nice accuracy. Switch hitter that starts from a solid balanced stance from the right side. Using a hanging leg lift to create his load and rhythm and stays on his backside. Upper body dominant swing with very active hands and a linear swing path to impact. Gets his weight more to his front side from the left side of the plate and the hands do most of the work. A little more mechanical presentation and less feel from this side, just needs more development from this side. Secondary RHP using a quick rhythm up to balance point and getting overly deep in back leg in transition. Breaks hands chest high and creates a good clean arm path in line with body down the mound. Head tilt and early upper body rotation causes some difficulty at release turning into cut on this FB that reached 66 MPH. Added in a CB with some size to it and will get better with time.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
