John Zaremba is a 2029 RHP/1B/2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Poly Prep Country Day. Lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from an abbreviated wind up with a short arm take away and quick arm coming through. Fastball was in the low 70's and topped out at 75 mph, throws his fastball consistently for strikes with occasional running life, velocity projects well as he matures physically. Did a good job of landing a 11/5 curveball with some gradual depth. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a high hand load, some shift to his front side, created some young bat speed and extension through contact, showed good feel for the barrel and some hitting talent to develop. 8.08 runner in the sixty. Worked out both in the infield and at first base on defense, profiles best at first base moving forward.
