Joseph Arango-Manley is a 2026 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Westview. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.82 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, tends to wait back on the ball, step by step footwork, developing glove actions, best when charging the ball, third base actions at present. Left handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and slightly open stance with a high hand load, some rhythm into his swing, long and loose swing with some impact when he got out front, will open early at times, best contact to the pull side gap. Also pitched, has a fast paced delivery with a compact arm action and 3/4's arm slot, some energy at release. Fastball was in the upper 70's with some running life, threw strikes with his fastball. Threw a soft slider in the upper 60's as his breaking ball, landed a fading change up well. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
