Jack Rowland is a 2024 2B/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Murfreesboro, TN who attends Middle Tennessee Christian. Jack ran a 7.35 sixty yard dash. Rowland has a medium athletic build with some length to the frame. Primary middle infielder he showed very solid footwork laterally while catching the ball cleanly. He showed some strength and carry on the throws across the diamond. On the mound Jack starts on the first base side of the rubber with a simple slower moving operation. The hands break at the chest to a longer 3/4s arm angle. He threw a fastball in the mid to upper 60s that he had good control of to both sides of the plate. He also mixed in a breaking ball that looked to still be in development. Right handed hitter has a wide even base with a big leg lift trigger. He keeps his weight on the backside while staying there throughout the swing occasionally cutting it short. He showed still developing bat speed as well as a gap to gap approach. Jack is a good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
