Ethan Meves is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Mount Pleasant, WI who attends Union Grove. Young compact build with good strength potential Primary pitcher with a full and balanced delivery, stays over the rubber well, late break with his hands, compact arm action. Fastball worked in the low 70's and topped out at 73 mph, gets good running life at times. Also dropped in a short curveball occasionally. 8.19 runner in the sixty. Has sound fundamental actions at first base on defense, gets his feet in good position and works low behind the ball, makes accurate throws with a quick release. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance and tends to stay open with his lower half, has a short and direct high contact swing, moves the ball around the field. Will keep improving with continued work on his athleticism as he has present baseball skills. Good student.
