Brody Santman is a 2028 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from Sumner, WA who attends Sumner. Features a smaller lean build. Ran a 7.33 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed athletic and aggressive actions. Good first step and worked quick in his approach to the baseball. Some stiffness to the glovework but fielded most out front and clean. Worked quick to release where he showed a shorter arm action that got off on-line, low-arcing accurate throws to the bag. At 1B, showed similar light/aggressive feet that played through the baseball well with clean/soft reception. At the plate, sits in a medium base that is slightly open from the left side. Uses a hanging leg kick trigger that gets him forward. Shows avg. bat speed for his level where his barrel works on a slightly lofted path through. Had some trouble getting extended but showed decent feel for the barrel within a more LD oriented approach. On the mound, showed a slower leg lift to the belt with smaller drop in driveleg. Used a shorter arm action that works to release out of a lower 3/4 slot. Ran the FB up to 78 that had some natural running action to it. Mixed in a CH with quality depth and fade in the upper 60s and a SL that had 1-7 shape to it.
