Caden Moeller is a 2029 C/RHP/IF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Bettendorf, IA who attends Bettendorf. Young and slender build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, with a slightly spread and even base, with higher hands and a high back elbow. He had a real high handset att load and a medium leg lift trigger working into it. He had an aggressive and quick move with some rotational swings showing during his round. He mostly worked back up the middle and backside during the round, with some feel to lift and loft. He had a quicker stroke with an aggressive move. He drove it through the middle of the field for a good finish during his round. Produced a 77 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. He worked out on the infield, with some snatch to the hands, working on the infield. He had a shorter and compact release with an uphill release across the diamond. He had developing arm strength, showing with throws at 69 mph. Also worked out behind the dish, throwing 69 mph with a 2.09 pop time, showing a right-knee-down stance with a big front glove lead arm point working through the throws. He had a quicker transfer with some feel to gain ground moving forward. His throws were uphill out of the hand and carried pretty well. He showed some projection here with fundamental actions that project to keep improving with added strength and maturity. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher, working from the wind-up with a quick sidestep and coiled leg lift at the belt. He had drop-and-drive mechanics with a longer & loose arm action. He had some whip to the arm swing with a clean release. He had a bigger front glove point with the lead arm working through release. He repeated the actions well. The fastball worked 67-69 mph with some occasional sink. He showed a 12-6 shaped curveball around 60 mph with feel for a changeup in the low-60s with straight depth. Mixed all 3 pitches.
