Andrew Rodriguez is a 2024 MIF/3B with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from West Linn, OR who attends West Linn. Features a smaller frame that flashed hints of athleticism. Ran a 5.18 60-yd dash. In the INF, he exhibited sure glove actions where he got to his spots early displayed his glove early and out front. Fields it clean at reception but did flash some hesitancy to the backhand side. Smooth funnel to the belt with a quick exchange. Used a shorter arm action that got off accurate throws across from different angles and with avg. strength for his level. At the plate, he sits in a balanced stance with a medium base. Very minimal moves in his trigger, load, and forward move. Hands throw the barrel on a more direct/compact path with a level finish. Stays behind his front side well and maintains balance. Showed avg. bat speed and impact for his level. Best contact was when he was out front and produced quality LDs he sent to the pullside.
