2024 Rocky Mountain Workout Showcase (Fri.)
Deven Hazari is a 2026 SS/2B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Mountain Vista. A longer and lean build with some athleticism throughout. Ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder who has developing footwork with some twitch and quickness to the actions. He moved quickly to the ball, showing a shorter and compact release with a quick and fast release working through it. Good picks working up the middle, and softer hands shown throughout the round. Threw from multiple angles and adjusted slots as needed. He threw 84 mph across the diamond with clean actions and traits to like. A switch-hitter. As a right-handed hitter who has an even base, slightly open feet, and higher set hands with the back elbow up. He turns well with good bat speed and some strength to impact. There's some whip to the hands and speed through contact. As a left-handed hitter, it's the same setup with even more quickness to the hands with a shorter and compact path to it. He worked well pull-side, turning on the ball well and staying through it. Hazari had some sneaky lift to the operation as well. Great student. Named to 2024 Rocky Mountain Workout Showcase TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
