Gavin Guy is a 2026 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Newport Beach, CA who attends Newport Harbor. Tall projectable frame. In the outfield, he is methodical in his approach, fields well with clean exchange into a long flowing arm stroke. Decent carry out of the hand and highly accurate to both bases. In the infield, the feet work direct to the fielding point with lateral agility fit for the corner designation. Glove secured each ball cleanly and delivered accurate throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, moderate base and high back elbow. The load is connected and the hands work in unison with a strong lower half to generate above average power. Can get a bit roational at times but shows the barrel skills to adjust and still square. Pounded balls middle to pull throughout and translated into in game success. On the mound, its a stretch only operation with a belt high leg kick, and drop and drive mechanics. High three-quarters slot and medium arm stroke. Athletic movements in the delivery. Above average arm speed with a fastball in the mid-80's.11-5 shape curveball flashes good depth and the straight change in the mid 70's is an effective change of pace. 7.14 60-yard. Great Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
