2026 PG California Workout Showcase (Sunday)
Aiden Amat is a 2029 OF/LHP/1B with an athletic 6-0 160 lb. frame from Yorba Linda, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Started the event off clocking a 6.81 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder, secondary pitcher. Amat features a 3-pitch mix (FB, CB, SL, CH) out of a 3/4 arm slot. Considered as a command/control guy where he can land all of his offerings for strikes. Ran the fastball to 80 mph with some arm side run. Nothing is straight out of the hand. Showed solid actions and confidence working through the ball in the outfield where he clocked 82 mph to home plate. At first base, he fields the ball out front cleanly, makes accurate throws with a quick release, has an idea of his footwork and fundamentals around the bag. Left handed hitter that hits from an even stance with his bat on his shoulder, hanging leg raise load, pull approach swing path with excellent intent and impact. Its a pretty left-handed swing, has plus bat speed, and was lacing balls in the gap for a stand out BP round. Excellent student. Named the #1 Top Prospect in the 2029 class for this event.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
