Ayden Peterson is a 2027 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-10 210 lb. frame from Trenton, IL who attends Wesclin. A medium frame with some more strength throughout a bigger build. Ran a 7.85 60-yard dash. Primary infielder who worked out at the position with good feel, working laterally, being able to range to both sides. He had good whip to the arm and present arm strength that showed. He worked from a three-quarters arm slot and threw 84 mph across the diamond during his round of throws. He showed good actions overall, with a clean round and feel to be accurate across, and make the plays well. He also worked out at first base. He was good around the bag, with quick and accurate footwork. The hands work well with some feel to pop off the bag and move about. He had a clue for the actions and was able to throw 82 mph across the diamond with smooth actions. Took BP as a right-handed hitter with a slightly spread and more even stance as he setup. He had higher hands, the back elbow up, and used a bigger and aggressive leg lift working into it. He produced some line drives working through the middle of the field, with some strength off the barrel. He stays shorter and compact with the path, being able to get his hands to it out in front and stay through it well. He had some well-struck balls working back up the middle of the field, mostly gap-to-gap. He had some physical swings and was able to generate some barrel speed to impact it. He swung it well during BP and produced an 86 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
