Nico Mullen is a 2025 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-2 193 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Mount Carmel. Large frame with projectable, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.06 seconds. Hits from even and relaxed stance with high back elbow, has lift to stroke and can drive the ball in the air, has present raw power with projection for much more as he gets stronger, good hitting tools on display all weekend. Worked out in the infield, hands work out front, developing feel to the backhand as well as for lateral agility, clocked up to 80 mph on throws across. Also pitched, long and offline arm stroke through the back to low 3/4 slot release, fastball worked 76-79 mph with big arm side run, flashes curveball with some sweep and a changeup that he kills spin well on. Very good student, named to 2023 Great Lakes Showcase Top Prospect List.
