Barham is a good left handed pitcher now and could get even better when he gets in better shape and firms up his body. He showed us an 80-86 mph fastball from a low ¾’s release point that he was able to keep low in the strike zone and under hitter’s bats. Barham’s fastball set up his curveball well. He often used his big 72 mph sweeper to backdoor right handed hitters after backing them off the plate with his fastball. He definitely knows what he's doing on the mound. Could be a top DI pitcher down the road. Trey is a very good student.
