Tyler Derice is a 2027 C/3B with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Hanover, MA who attends Hanover or TBD. Medium build for his age, has some strength with more to come. 8.64 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, does a good job of setting up low behind the plate, has a good idea on his footwork and repeats it well, good direction into his throws, compact arm action, made very accurate throws, stood out in drills. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow upright stance with a short stride into contact, gets good rotation from his lower half and gets into his hips to drive his swing, short and compact swing, showed his power very well in the games with multiple barrels and a couple of extra base hits. Nice young player on both sides of the ball. Good student.
